Concept name*
BRAIN ANATOMY IN 3D with GAMES and a PUZZLE
Location
Chicago, IL
Application Track
Other Innovations in Translational Learning Technologies
Description
Our vision is for students to be excited and engaged while learning about our brains. With our solution, students can engage individually or with a group of friends, either in class or remotely. Interaction with the brain allows for full 360-degree engagement, zoom to the smallest structure, and brain layers that can be investigated from inside out. The software will empower the learner and sustain their interest by giving them control of their pace and level of engagement. During game play, learners simultaneously engage with the brain by swiping or tapping on structures. Our games are designed to foster mastery of brain anatomy using repeated practice, 3D spatial orientation, and recall from memory. Progress is incentivized with scores, rewards, and achievements. Our software will be accompanied by a plastic brain puzzle (3D printed hands-on resource) that comes apart in layers to promote "learn by doing".
